Hi All,

I'm trying to create a sub, under the criteria; where if column B has an interior red color, then column B will not change its interior red cell condition.

Unless the user enters a value into either column B, which will then remove this interior red cell condition for its respective column.

Can someone help me out with a code for this condition?

Many thanks!

Can you show us with some screen prints of what you are trying to do?
It is not clear if you are talking about one cell in the column, or the whole column.
I think a visual example of the before/after should hopefully lear up any questions.

Hey Joe4!

I'll see if I can provide an example of what I'm talking about!

(Sorry it took me awhile to get back to you, my computer crashed!!)

Okay, If I have two entries for Column B & E; with the interior color red appearing below =

BeforeUntitled.jpg

When I go to Column E interior red color cell with the curser box then exit out of that cell; Column B removes its interior color red .. (?)

So, I'm trying to create a sub, under the criteria; where if column B has an interior red color, then column B will remain its interior red cell condition, regardless of what column E or for that matter any other cell of that row.

Unless of course the user enters in a legitimate value into column B interior red colored cell, which will then remove that interior red cell condition, where you can see here that I've entered in 20:25 for Column B in lieu of 19:56, which then removed the interior cell condition on its own. This is a sub that I've worked out but please let me know, if you need to see it as a reference.

I hope that I made this clearer in lieu of more confusing.

Please let me know.

Many thanks!

Sorry, I have been away for a few days and just got back in to town today.
Yes, please post your code.

And what makes a value legitimate?
Why is 20:25 OK, but 19:56 not OK?
What is the rule/criteria?
