Hi I have a sheet which I want a certain cells to be summed based on certain Criteria example below

1	John	Jack	John	Leon	John	Rowan

VBA/ macro or formula to return Summarized value of selected person -- Example if John is Selected total value of row 4 returned not to add row 5 values

John	200

Solved it by using SUMif - I was staring myself blind in using a macro or IF statement but not thinking about it, it came to me... Wham!
