Hi,

I have excel.xlsm empty file in which I have some VBA code and functions on couple sheets.
That file is always in same place and it's like a base to use in future projects. Usually I do copy file (to project folder) for project I work with and work on the new copy.
What I'm looking for is that in original file (I would make it "Read only" in future) I would have button with assigned macro/VBA code that will allow me to:
-Save copy or original file I did edit
-Chose location of that file (where it will be saved)
-Chose name of that file (it's necessary that extension of file .xlsm have to be added by excel not user, while saving I can do it my self but I do have some employees that will forget about that)
-Change type of file from read only to normal state that allows you save it and edit it later

I did try use SaveCopyAs or SaveAs but can't achieve all point's that I need and biggest problem was to not be forced to put on end of file extension .xlsm

Do you have any solution for that?
