I need help writing a Macro which will move data from a cell to an adjacent cell.

E.g
Column B has only data in certain cells, I would like the Macro to work down the column and every time it encounters data in Column B to move it into the adjacent cell into Column A.

Thanking you in advance for your assistance

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
Do right click on the sheet tab and select view code and add the below code

Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)

If Not Intersect(Target, Range("B:B")) Is Nothing Then
    Target.Offset(0, -1).Value = Target.Value
    Application.EnableEvents = False
        Target.ClearContents
    Application.EnableEvents = True
End If

End Sub

Thankyou that works really well.. however is it possible for me to put that into a macro I can run after I have imported the data and sorted it.
