VBA Number Data Type

Hi,

When I take a range from a cell how can I make it into a number data type so that I can sum different values together in VBA?

If it is a number then you don't need to change it.

Hmmm, it is a number but the value is generated from a VLOOKUP.

If the VLOOKUP returns a number then it's still going to be a number.

Thanks - got it working with VAL(). It seems that when I put the numbers into text boxes it was converting the data type.

What sort of numbers are they - integers or decimal numbers?
