Hi

i have the following code to open a txt file

Set wkbTemp = Workbooks.Open(Filename:=FileItem, Format:=6, Delimiter:=",")

When the txt file is open, I am losing the leading zeros in the files e.g 0091 is showing 91 in the cell.

How can i quickly fix it ?

Waterfall charts in Excel?

Hi,
better use the OpenText method with its FieldInfo parameter filled for this column as text.
Another way is to activate the Macro Recorder, to open the text file from Excel menu then to well answer to the Import Assistant
in order to get your own code base …
