I have a picture I import into a worksheet and then assign a macro to the picture via VBA. My problem is that every time the picture gets imported Excel gives it a new number:
ActiveSheet.Shapes.Range(Array("Picture 2")).Select

The next time I run the macro, the picture number has been changed, so Excel doesn't assign the macro because it thinks it's the wrong picture.

Is there some way to tell Excel what number to call the picture when it's imported? It is the only picture or shape on the worksheet.

Thanks.

Hello
When importing the Picture, give it a name. When you assign the macro at the Picture refer to the name you gave.
