Good morning,

I've designed a production map control so we can obtain fast reports.
To reduce the latency, there is a folder for each year and a workbook for each month of that year.
Everything is working fine, but it's needed a way to update some of the entries automatically

How it works:
- Every year as a folder
- Every month from each year as a file where the production is registered
- There is a file per year that contain all the necessary reports - it extract data from month/year files
- There is a general file that is a report from all the years - it extract data from year files

It's really hard to explain the point. Please let me know how I can make it more clear.

Sometimes, clients send a technical list for some items and we add the info to our "data base". The problem is that the items in the list can be from different years/month.

My question is how can I check all the items from the same year to open the folder and then open the month and update, looping through all the month/year without duplicate workbooks openings.

Thank you so much in advance if you got this further.
Any help is welcome... Really don't know how to do it.

Regards,
P. Gomes
