VBA Project is Unviewable After Repair

Hi guys,

For some reason this morning I am getting this message when I try to open my workbook;

"Excel found unreadable content in 'Para Reg.xlsm'. Do you want to recover the contents of the workbook?" -> click ok

"Excel completed file level validation and repair. Some parts of this workbook may have been repaired or discarded." -> click ok

Now the strange part; once I've saved the repaired workbook all the macros seem to work fine; userforms, sending emails, saving the workbook... everything!

But I'm just not able to view the VBA project? Just keeps saying "Project is unviewable"? There is no password or anything like that on the project or workbook, nor is it shared.

Has anyone seen this before or know a way of repairing it?

Many thanks for any help,
Cheers,
Alan.

P.s I have made the amateur mistake of not having a backup :oops:

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
For anyone who comes across this...

The workbook seems to have thought it was shared (even tho the share workbook box was unticked)

To solve the problem I had to tick the Share Workbook box, save the file, Un-tick the Share Workbook box, save the file again and voila the project is now viewable again...

Very strange!
