morning all - i took mudface's fantastic advice about using vba project properties > protection to password protect my vba, but it is so secure that now i don't know how to get back into the macros which don't run off buttons (e.g. auto-open and auto-close)! i am using alt-f8 to display a list of macros, btw. help! thanks in advance

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
panic over! i've solved my own problem, but i was wondering if anyone knew a line of code that i could slip into my auto-open macro which would password protect my vba project. i use:
"thisworkbook.protect "mypassword", structure:=true, windows:=false" to password protect the workbook and was wodnering if there was a similar line for vba project protection?

thanks, m_p
