Does anyone know where i'm going wrong with this??

If ThisWorkbook.Sheets("Obs Sheet").Range("C" & Counter).Value <> (=MONTH(TODAY())) Then

I'm not sure how to make VBA use the excel MONTH command, thought i'd see someone in the forum do it that way before.

Any help would be great

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.

the VBA help file is a wonderful tool for things like this.
Code:
If ThisWorkbook.Sheets("Obs Sheet").Range("C" & Counter).Value <> Month(Date) Then
