So i have part numbers loaded into an array. The part numbers come from different vendors and i keep them as whatever type of thing they are formatted as. Now i need to get rid of spaces in the part numbers because the software i work with spit the part number back without them. So i have
but this is changing 800125 (a number) to "800125" (a string)
is there a way i can keep the simplicity and efficiency of the replace function without changing the value (whether that is a number or something else) to a string?
