I have the following line in my vba coding from an Excel Workbook, once executed it then goes back and re-opens the same file. It doesn't seem to want to get to the a2 selection. Any ideas as to why it's doing this?

Workbooks.Open Filename:= _
"G:\Solicitor Requests\NSR Database.xls" _
, UpdateLinks:=3, ReadOnly:=False, password:="5555", writerespassword:="guitar"
Range("a2").Select

Please help!!

Thanks

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Ignore this, i've re-created another workbook called NSR Database and it works fine. The previous file was recovered from a network corruption and must still be corrupted!

Thanks
