Can anyone briefly explain to me (or send me a link to read) that explains when I need to use "Set" in my VBA?

It seems like sometime I have to use it, and other times I don't.

Thank you.

You use Set when you want to create a reference to an object. eg range, worksheet, workbook etc

When assigning a varible to an Object (a range, a sheet, user-defined Class etc.), Set is used.
When assigning a variable to a data type (Integer, Double, String, UDT) Let is used.
VBA assumes a Let so it is seldome seen
