Hi guys can you help, erm this is a good one

I need to get rows of data sorted, thousands of them by col A

Data

A0001
A0002
A0005
23456
12377

but the twist I need the data say A0001 to be on row one and data A0005 to be on row 5, data 2345 on row 23456, any blanks are fine then blank they should be the entire row sorted all data on the row, not just column A
All the data is very mixed up a simple sort is ok but no rows to data number??
Any ideas guys

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
Off the top of my head, it seems that every item has a predestined location on a new worksheet. Once done, delete the original sheet, rename the new with former's name.

The values just need to be interpreted as integers. Set up a loop that tests a value as numeric, remove the leading character if test fails, then test again until successful.

Is the data formatted as text? Cint() would be useful, then.

Does this sound about right?
