yes, i know some about formula, i am trying to learn how to use vba instead. Example to do a Vlookup to find certain numbers from multiple columns that are less than 300 but not more than 400 and place them in another column. I am just trying to learn how do do vba instead if it is possible, i just need the step by step. thanks in advance

You really need to give more info on this.

For example, what columns do you have the data in, are the number of rows known or is it a variable, and what column do you want them to be put into?

try somthing like this..

Click anywhere on your sheet and then press Alt + F11, from tools insert new module and copy paste this code to the blank area...
