I have an issue with my vba code, any code it may be due to some excel setting or corrupt files in excel.

If I make a change to a code any code, it stops working, The code does NOT crash, it runs fine, it just does not perform the task it should. To fix the problem I have to either shut down excel or my pc and then on reboot the same code works fine. There are times when I have to leave it a day or 2 and then go back to the code and it runs fine.

Is this a excel setting issue or a corrupt excel file?

The Pc came with Office 2016 installed so I do not have the disc to reinstall.

Sounds like corruption to me. Or system problems

Try the file on another PC and see what that does. if it works then you have a potential OS problem or office corruption. office can be "repaired" or may nee a clean reinstall. or if it is OS problems it may need a reformat and clean install of Windows. it gets glitchy and misbehaves the more updates and use it gets.
