VBA to activate workbook with reference to name in cell

could you pls help, i need a VBA code to activate workbook (which is already opened) with reference to name in cell A1

in Cell A1 is "masterworksheet.xls"

Hello,

Try something like:

Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
Dim Changed As Range
Set Changed = Intersect(Target, Range("A1"))
    If Not Changed Is Nothing Then
        If Target.Value = "masterworksheet.xls" Then
            Workbooks("[highlight]TheWorkBookToActivate.xls"[/highlight]).Activate
        End If
    End If
    
End Sub

Change to the name of the workbook you wish to activate.

The above code goes into the worksheet module of the sheet that should trigger the code.

(Right click the sheet tab and choose veiw code, paste into the sheet module.)

Try this, it assumes that A1 is in the currently active sheet.

Workbooks(ActiveSheet.Range("A1").Value).Activate
