Hello,

I have a module that saves a file to the correct location in .txt format.

I am looking to rename the file with a .iif extension to use with Quickbooks. Simply naming the file with .iif at the end doesn't work because it doesn't change the file type.
Is there code I can use to change the actual file type to .iif after saving as .txt?

ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs Filename:=DirPath & DateStr & Comment, FileFormat:=xlText, CreateBackup:=False

Thanks

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
