VBA to check system date

Hi

I've created a spreadsheet that will become redundant on a specific date, is there a vba way of checking the system date and if it is greater than the specified date it fails to open ?

A very simple way:

Private Sub Workbook_Open()
If Date = "18/03/2009" Then ThisWorkbook.Close
End Sub

Pop onto the This Workbook sheet of your workbook's VBA project.
