VBA to hide rows within date range

I need help with VBA to hide all rows that contain a date in column "BG" that is not within 6 weeks from today. Seems simple enough, but I am overcomplicating it. Any help would be appreciated!
 

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Thanks for the suggestion. For end user simplicity, I need this to be VBA (and will eventually be a button), as I will be creating multiple filters / buttons in the future.

As any VBA procedure can use the Excel basics …​
Activate the Macro Recorder and operate manually - a good start to learn ! - then post here the generated code for some optimization …​
