Hi, I have a sheet with dates in col H, last used row on the sheet unknown. i want check each row in a given column (H) to parse the month as text (like JAN, FEB, etc) to col Y, but I need to check if the source date cell in H is blank first.

I ran the macro that adds a formula into the destination column, but i don't want the formula in my sheet, just the value. can this be done?

this was the test macro (i inserted a destination row when the macro was recording)

Code:
    ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 = "moCr"
    Range("I2").Select
    ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 = "=UPPER(TEXT(RC[-1],""mmm""))"
    Range("I2").Select
    Selection.AutoFill Destination:=Range("I2:I27537")
    Range("I2:I27537").Select

Difference between two dates
Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
