in an access module i use vba to build an excel report, save it on our LAN and then email to a distro list "you report is ready!"

using vba is there a way to add a hyperlink to the LAN location within the email msg?

ideally, i'd like the recieppients to be able to click wiht the emial and have the folder open so that they can view the newly created report.

is this doable?

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
This snippet of code will open a folder using the shell command

Sub openfolder()
Dim x As Variant
x = Shell("EXPLORER.EXE M:\Access Files\", vbNormalFocus)
End Sub
