I'm the admin of several workbooks in a shared drive. Its gotten out of hand lately and happing more often. Someone has it locked and/or forgotten and walks away. I've played with a few codes but non have worked the way I want. Most recent I've tried a code posted by Oorang the Kickcatcher macro. I've followed all the directions but isn't working, getting several errors. Searched google to no avail, can anyone offer a solution to show whos logged in and log them out.

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
Can you link to the code you have tried? And what version of excel are you using?

My guess is these files are not in a SharePoint folder - they're somewhere on a local shared network. Do you want to allow multiple people to have it open at once? If so, can you not share the workbooks (or use co authoring if you're on O365)?
