VBA to remove unwanted numbers, parenthesis and trailing spaces in a range of multiple columns?

In the above example I have data in columns D through I which has numbers, parenthesis and trailing spaces. Can anyone help me with a code to remove all of this? I prefer to use a macro button for this.
I found this example, but that only works for one column, and I'm too much of a beginner to adapt it to work with this range.
 

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
