Hi Everyone and Happy New Year.
I paste my trading positions from a csv file into an Excel table on a daily basis, with each position in a row and tickler, price, and shares in the columns. That table then feeds various other sheets, tables, formulae, etc. A macro to do this manual pasting process is being created by me right now.
So far, my macro successfully opens the csv file (using a * wildcard as the filename changes daily with a new date), successfully copies the date, successfully switches back to the Excel file from the csv file. Now I just need to paste the data into the table fully overwriting the previous day's data and resize the table if necessary. Resizing the table is only necessary if the number of rows < the number of rows from the previous day.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
