Hi,
I plan to do a massive pivot of projects numbers, maybe a hundred and then do report filter pages to create a sheet for each project. I think this will also name the sheet after the project number if it is the report filter.
question, can excel create a hundred sheets in one workbook? Or do I need to do 3 or 4 workbooks.
i would then like to insert some code to create each individual sheet into a file of the same sheet name ...I.e. 1 sheet per 1 new separate worksheet and then save them all in the same directory.
many thanks
a VBA learner...

Hi Julia,

The number of sheets in a workbook is only limited by available memory. Unless the sheets each have a lot of data you should be able to easily have hundreds. It is easy to write a macro that takes sheets and turns them into individual workbooks, each named according to the sheet name.
