Hello,
About 15 years ago I managed to achieve this, but now with quite a few hours of work(struggle) I am at a complete loss as to how I achieved it.
I have created a unique identifier which drops into Cell A81 on the 'Checks' Sheet and Column B on the 'Results' Sheet.
Here's what I have:
A Sheet that users access and complete called 'Checker' in a workbook called 'Checks', when the user clicks the 'SEND' button:
1. The sheet updates a sheet called 'Results' in another workbook called 'Outcomes' with the results and,
2. Emails a copy of the workbook as an attachment to the relevant user.
All of this works and is fine.
Here's the issue:
3. The relevant user should then update a few cells on the sheet to acknowledge that they understand what has been checked.
4. Click a button called 'Send Back to Checkers'.
5. This should then open the workbook called 'Outcomes' and the 'Results' sheet, locate the unique identifier in Column B, copy from the relevant cells in 'Checks' and paste into 'Results'.
6. Also, to email the sheet back - But I've got this nailed as mentioned above.
If you'd like any further info, please ask.
Thanks in advance Rob : )
