I've read that a worksheetfunction.CountA will return the number of non-blank cells, but how to use the number of non-blank cells? I've tried using a 'MsgBox' to test it, but with no success. How would the VBA look to return the number of non-blank cells?

Thanks....

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
Hi, for example:

Code:
MsgBox WorksheetFunction.CountA(Range("A1:A100"))

Thanks... funny, I thought I tried that before... guess I missed something in the syntax!

Hi

Just a remark: be careful with the word blank (bad word). CountA will return the number of non-empty cells. If you have a cell with a formula that return "" (empty string) CountA will count it.
