VBA - yellow arrow in the left border when debugging

Does anybody know how to show the grey column where the yellow arrow appears when you hit f8 to go through code? I have it on mine but a friend hasnt got it on his and we cant work out how to make it appear or disappear on mine.

In the VBA IDE:

Select "Tools" > "Options"
Select "Editor Format" tab in "Options" dialog box
Check "Margin Indicator Bar" on right under font size
