Vba?

I am not sure of the best way to do this. I have to change the font of a cell based on the date. I know how to do this in conditional formating, however, I have mulitple cells to change and I did not want to go into each cell and setup conditional formating. What i have is dates in Column A and if today()<Column A, I want the font to be RED because that would indicate it is a forecast. Could you please give me the VBA code or another method.
