I have a list. In column A1, there's a name. In column A2, there's a name. There are names all the way down to column A116. I would like instead of a column of names, just one cell with all of the names is column A to be separated by a comma. So, if my list was:

Column A
Mr. 1
Mr. 2
Mr. 3
Mr. 4
Mr. 5

How would I be able to get:

Column B
Mr. 1, Mr. 2, Mr. 3, Mr. 4, Mr. 5

Above column B is just cell B1. This may seem silly and easily remedied by just doing it manually, but I will soon have a list of more than 6000 names and I don't want to even think about doing that manually. Thank you very much in advance!

Save Often
If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
When I need to concatenate values from a vertical list into a horizontal list I tend to use this formula configuration:

If your values are in column A, starting by writing this formula in cell B1 '=A1'

Then in cell B2, write the formula: '=B1&", "&A2'

Then double click the fill handle to copy this down. The bottom cell should be the one you want!

This may not work for columns with 6000 entries, as Im not sure how many characters can be in a single cell. Excel 2007 may have capacity, but I think Excel 2003 can only have 1024 characters?
