Hi there guys, It might well be, that the title is not really appropriate, but it kinda includes the whole idea, that sometimes Excel would be nicer with a 3rd, Z-axis.
So here is the thing, I have people on different projects (Y-axis) and a timeline/calendar (X-axis). This setup basically shows how many hours a person worked on a certain day. I need to assign these hours to a "cost place" and this is the place where a Z-axis would come in extremely handy. My idea was that it would be extremely nice if you could select a certain group of cells (in a row) and assign a value to them and that you could then analyze these (3rd) values later on. I know you need uniform data to make analyzing data somewhat efficient, and that the best way to achieve this is to enter data through a form. but if you have a lot of workers, entering data for each day, individually is not just time-consuming, but also extremely confusing, since you don't see the whole picture. Well, that's basically it, so anyone that has an idea, please help.

Best regards

B.
