I have a file where the user clicks on a button that compresses the rows to only show the desired information. After they click on the button the rows compress, but the focus of the screen stays in one place.

Is there a way that I can have the focus move to the section of the worksheet that has just been compressed?

Is the focus not moving because I have screen-updating set to false?

Thanks.

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
how does it know whats to compress

if you can get a row # from that code then you can just

ActiveWindow.ScrollRow = 2000 <===== the first row compressed
