Visio data to Excel

Hi All

I'm currently trying to parse a .vsd file and populate a worksheet of data items. Thing is I don't have Visio, but I do have Excel 2010 and the Microsoft Visio Viewer 14.0 reference, but I haven't found any good sample code on google. Can someone please help me?

It is difficult to find resources for Visio programming and there are only a few books on the subject.
