Hi

I do not know how this happend, maybe it was when I added a languagepack to my Excel 2010, but now I cannot open VB-Editor, or any workbook with macros.

It somehow seems like Excel says my VBA is not installed anymore?!

How can this be??

Kind regards
Espen

Excel Facts

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
I don't know how it happened but have you tried changing the installation (via Control Panel) and making sure VBA is included?

I tried that now, but no change.... Problem is that I have all 2003-2013 installed, so if I have to unistall 2010, I would also have to unistall 2013 as it will block older versions.

When I try to open a macro book, i get the following message:

Removed part: /xl/vbaProject.bin-del. (Visual Basic for Applications (VBA))

I tried to follow these instructions, but could not find the registerkey at all. And reinstall doesnt give me an option to select VBA specific....

Kind regards
Espen

I dont know where the file is but you can look for the main template excel file and delete it. Opening excel should create a new one. Also try running it in safe mode.
