Vlookup across multiple sheets

I need to pull two data points from multiple (several hundred) worksheets that are spread across 18 or so files. The worksheets are all named after specific dates for example 02-09-10, 02-10-10,...<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

The data is identified with a label in Column A and the value is in column B.

Does anyone know of a macro or function that would allow me to use v-lookup to grab this given the name of the sheet changes by date sequentially?

Or know of a way to change the vlookup formula automatically by referencing another cell that has the name of the worksheet in it?
