i am using vlookup to gather info from a table in the same workbook on a different sheet. The formula works until i sort the data from the original table.
=VLOOKUP($B5,GOLD!$A$2:$I$32,5,TRUE)
what i'm doing is looking for the value in B5 in the first column of the table and retrieving a value from the 5th coloumn. The formula works until i sort the data in the table, what should i be changing?
