All I am trying to retrive date via vlookup from a pivot table and put it in a seperate table for graphing purposes. It seems as though any lookup function directed at the pivot table return a #N/A. Is there a special way to do this or is it not possible.

Thanks
Ken

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
What is the formula you are using? I'm not aware of anything special when doing a vlookup on a pivot table as I have done it numerous times?

the lookup value is a date. I think maybe it was formated wrong. I just copied and pasted the lookup value from the source and now it works.

Thank You
