I have 1700 rows with associates id's and points given for specific attendance infractions.
On a seperate tab, I would like to list all associates and have a formula refer back to the original tab ( vlookup Employee Id in column A) and sum the total points given to that associates on the lists.

For example :
1234 - John Smith may be listed 5 times throughout the list with different point values in colomn C.
The desired result is that from Tab2 - a formula ( or something ) will look on Tab1 for 1234 in column A and sum the total of points given to that associate from Column C.
Usually vlookup will find the first record and not continue to move down the list.
