Vlookup based on the date in a tab

Hello,

I have tried searching for help before posting but couldn't find a solution.

I have a spreadsheet with a tab for each day of the month each containing a list of trailer numbers in column A and a list in column B saying if they are loaded or not.

I have a main tab that I want to vlookup on another tab in the sheet, depending on what date I put in the main tab (in theory changing which tab the vlookup looks at).

Ive struggled with how to explain this well so I hope it makes some sense what I am looking to do. Literally searched all over for a solution to it.

Hoping someone can help me please.

Thanks

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Hi SKnight22,

Some questions:
  1. On the Main sheet do you enter the Trailer Numbers for the lookup or is it intended to return all Trailer Numbers from the Sheet for 24th?
  2. If the answer to the previous question is "Pick up all Trailer Numbers for the 24th" then may some rows contain an empty location meaning you don't want that row retrieved?
  3. Please note a messy part of the solution may be adding the "st", "nd", "rd", "th" to the day to get the sheet name so would it be possible just to name the sheets 1,2,3,4,5,etc.?
