VLOOKUP but can it be used if a word is not exactly the same?

Hi,

I am working on some data at the moment. I am pulling web queries in from two different sites as not one has all the information I need.

Because of that some of the wording is different.
As an example one site has the names spelt Vaalerenga and Bodoe/Glimt, whilst the other website has them spelt Valerenga and Bodo/Glimt.


Is there a function that returns the closest match. So in cell D1 I could say VLOOKUP A1 (=Vaalerenga) to Cells H1:L200,4,false). If not an exact match then find the closest match to A1??
