did vlookup change? today im getting unpredictable results. I have a vlookup "=VLOOKUP(B4,Copy.csv!$B$1:$J$181,9,FALSE)" assigned to a complete column. My expectation was that a lookup would occur starting with cell b4 then looking it up in the opened workbook called Copy.csv - looking in the array B1-J181 for a match. When it finds a match, return the data in column J. Well, It works for the first one and uses the same value for the rest of the searches (B5-B200). Suggestions? I tried the match function =match(B4,Copy.csv!B:B,0) and it returned the number 4 for all the rows. Strange... Thanks

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
Do you have calculation set to manual?

Solution
Yep, would have never caught that. Need to pay attention to what is commented out when testing. Thanks so much. :)
