I have two spreadsheets. I'm checking the number in column G2 on spreadsheet #1 to see if is listed in the B column in spreadsheet #2 (Priority List--Play.xls) under worksheet IND. If so, I would like to see a YES on spreadsheet #1. Here is the formula I'm using:

=VLOOKUP((G2,'[Priority List--Play.xls]IND'!$B$2:$B$28),YES, " ")

I keep getting the #VALUE! error. Help!

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand

Welcome to the board..

Try

=IF(ISNUMBER(MATCH(G2,'[Priority List--Play.xls]IND'!$B$2:$B$28,0)),"YES","")
