Hello,

I am trying to do a VLookup that is proving to be more difficult than I had anticipated, and now I have hit a brick wall.

I will be as descriptive as I can in my issue.

I have a workbook with two tabs. The first tab is a summary sheet, and the second contains the data that the summary sheet is to pull from.

The data sheet contains a list of employees, and tasks that they have performed. The tasks are listed as columns, with a simple "Yes" or "No" as to if the task is complete. Note here that there are three different area's that each task can be performed, and that is in a column as well.

I want the summary sheet to do the following:
1) Look at the data sheet to see the last time the employee completed a task.
2) Look at the data sheet to tell me if ALL tasks are completed in the given area. (Three areas listed in three columns).

I have been using IF Vlookups, and can not seem to get this to work.

I need to Lookup to see 1) that the employee has completed a task for the specific area, then 2) let me know if ALL tasks have been completed. (First look up area name with a "yes" "no" response, then look up the area name and let me know if all tasks have been entered "yes" or if there are any "no"s)

I realize this is difficult to describe on here. But if anyone could help, it would be so helpful. I am able to email the sheet to you to look at.

Thank you soooo much!

I have included a link to a Google Sheet version of the sheet I am working with, but not sure if it will allow external collaboration.

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
The file needs permissions to access - please make it public.
