What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
Hi,

Thanks for the quick reponse. I fixed the spelling error, but it now gives me an #N/A error? Any idea why?

B2 contains letters between 3 to 10. The first three letters are unique for each one. So, if I enter three letters in F2, the result would be the relevant number code in colum C.

Why are you looking up the first 3 characters of B2 in the range B2:F16, which includes B2? Couldn't you just as easily use =C2?
