Hello,

I need some help guys.

I have report that I pull every month. Each month the line count is different. I am currently doing a vlookup on colum A to a table in another tab. Everymonth I have to update the vlookup and drag (if line count was larger than previous month). Is there a way to having my vlookup automatically adjust if there are new lines?

I'd really appreciate the help!
THanks

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.

Do you mean the lookup table varies in size?

One month it's:

=VLOOKUP(A1,X1:Y100,2,0)

The next month it might be:

=VLOOKUP(A1,X1:Y150,2,0)

If that's the case just use the entire columns like this:

=VLOOKUP(A1,X:Y,2,0)
