Is there a way to do a Vlookup to pull in data from another excel file

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Sure,

Just have the other workbook open and once you set the lookup reference, use Alt+Tab to switch to the other workbook and select the lookup range. Once you select it, entering a comma will bring you back to the original workbook.

Yes, if the other file is open. try like this

=VLOOKUP(A1,'[Book2.xls]Sheet1'!A1:D100,4,FALSE)
