Hello All,

In cell T10 I have a number let's say 334.

In cells U10 through AA 10 I have 334 834 394 884 839 389 889

I want to grab this info in cell M2.

Would Match or something else also do this trick?

Is there a better way to do this?

Again thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
What should be the result of the formula, I do not understand what you need?

Post the results in cell M10 going down.

There is a long list of lines of numbers like these.

Sorry, but if you ain't gonna be more clear than this, I cannot be of any help.

Success with your question, I hope someone else can understand it.

Hope this helps

Apologies but this is Chinese to me.

You can copy the cells U10:AA10 to M10:S10.

I cannot say more sensible things about it since I have no clue what you're doing.

Show your sheet using the HTML maker, for instance.

Maybe this is too easy, but the way you've phrased it here you could simply set M10 as =U10, N10=V10 and so on up to S10. Otherwise, I agree with wigi that your post is very cryptic.

Cheers, :)

Didn't really understand the question either, but I think that using Index and Match together is always better than using Lookups. I haven't ran so far into a lookup that Index and Match wouldn't solve.
