Hi all

I know this might seem like a silly question but i am at a loss at the moment.

i have three tabs called old stock new stock and locations

In locations i have my column (code) (description) (department) and (location). In my description field i have a vlookup for my code and it then pulls in my data from new stock.
is it possible to do a vlookup so it go look for the code in oldstock and new stock sheet .

Any and all help appreciated

I am not an expert and im using excel 13

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.

Hi

If an exact VLOOKUP() doesn't find a result it returns an error. As such, you want to say "if this is an error, do this other lookup". One way is using IFERROR() like this:

Code:
=IFERROR(VLOOKUP(A2, Table1, 2, 0), IFERROR(VLOOKUP(A2, Table2, 2, 0), VLOOKUP(A2, Table3, 2, 0))

Where A2 contains your lookup value and Table1 Table2 and Table3 are your three areas. Change the column number (currently 2) as appropriate.

(Note: the above formula will return an error if A2 is not in any of the three tables)

Hope that helps
